Can I get "Gold Exclusive Price" while on a 48-hour trial?

I want to buy a game that is on a Gold Exclusive Price and I was thinking about using a 48-hour code to get it. Does that work?

Can't Download BF3 Beta (Not a gold member)

48 hour codes do not allow access to gold exclusive content like the Battlefield beta. The 48 hour codes only allow you to access standard gold features like multiplayer matchmaking.

Gold Exclusive Price?

I just saw the Dark Souls games-on-demand version priced at $10 as a gold exclusive price -- $20 otherwise. Having never seen a "gold exclusive price" before, my question is this: is this a timed pricing? I didn't see anything indicating an end date, but
you never know w/ gaming comps, thus the question. Cheers!

The gold lettering in your gamertag suggest you already have a gold account.

However, in answer to your question, no, it won't work. The 48-hour code gives you multilayer access, but to get Gold offers you will need Gold subscription. Doesn't need to be a year, you can use a month, but it must be a Gold subscription.

Downloading the beta within the 1st week of its launch is a Gold Exclusive same as most demos are gold exclusives for 7 days. Using a 48 hour trial does not give you gold status but it allows you to make use of Gold Account features

Do you mean the 48 hour trial codes or the 14 day codes?

If so you need a paid membership not a trial code as they aren't actually gold and only give temporary access to multilayer not gold exclusives or you can wait 1 week for it to be available to silver members

48 Hour Trial Cards are not Gold. They are only a Trial for the 48 Hours. You will not have all Gold Access. It will vary Game to Game.

CLoud storage is only good for gold members. 48 hour and 14 day trials DO NOT unlock gold. They allow for online play only, no other gold benefits are available while on a trial membership.
