can I get banned for using a cheat engine in single player

As stated on the Xbox Community Standard under vii. Harmful behavior has no place on Xbox.

It is stated "Since competition is best when it’s fair, a level playing field is one of the most important requirements for gaming. When people cheat, use exploits, or otherwise tamper with hardware or software to gain a competitive advantage, it ruins the experience for everyone. Because of this, cheating, tampering, and the use of exploits are never acceptable in the Xbox community. Like, never."

By this, even if it's just a single-player, cheating is never acceptable. Like, never.

You're not going to get banned for using Cheat Engine on a Single player game that you own which has nothing to do with other online players and doesn't affect their experience. its your game, your PC.

also cheat engine is Not only for cheating. it is a platform and lots of mods also rely on it.

From what I've seen in the Support Forums, people don't tend to get banned for using cheats/exploits on single player games. They only get banned when using cheats/exploits on online games as it ruins other people's experience.

There are in game cheats that you can use by dialing certain phone numbers into your in game cell phone that grant you effects like to restore health or to spawn a certain vehicle. These cheats are only in single player and will not get you banned, they
will however block you from getting any achievements.

Mods however are against the rules and regulations of Xbox and Xbox LIVE. Using any mods in a game or on your console can result you in being banned from Xbox LIVE and your console being "bricked".
