  1. Can I get admonished by starting a new Rewards account?

    Hello everyone.

For personal reasons, a couple of months ago I created a new Xbox account, which is now my main account.

I have stopped using my old account completely and now I only use it to play the games that I already had bought there in my new account. Also, I already spent all my Rewards points buying new games as gifts for my new account. Now I would really like to stop using Microsoft Rewards on my old account and start using Rewards on the new one, but honestly I'm a little insecure about just starting using Rewards on my new account as I feel like Microsoft might take this as if I were doing multiple accounts in Rewards to earn more points.

Should I do something with my old account or do I just continue as normal with the new one?

    :)

Can I get admonished by starting a new Rewards account?

Hi! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

You should have no problem as long as you unlink your phone number from the previous account.

    1. Log in to your Microsoft to https://account.microsoft.com/

    2. Once login go to the Security tab > Advanced security option

    3. Click the text code then click remove.

    Game Pass "Enable Mods"

Real quick, I'm assuming everyone has just tried using nexusmods.com Vortex program and located the games folders within that system and nothing works, right? I'm going to attempt that and see what I can do. I will report back, hopefully with good news. However if nothing works I'll start admonishing Xbox and Microsoft appropriately.

MyRewards: VIP status and other rewards not updating

    Hello PsK Sych3,

You are enrolled as a US Rewards member. Therefore, we are only tracking and Rewarding purchases made in USD. Purchases with a regional currency aside from your Rewards' regional currency do not qualify for Xbox Live Rewards.

If you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Xbox Live region, you will have to create a new Rewards Account for that region, and close your previous Rewards Account. You can close your US Rewards Account by opting out of the program at ( https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/ )
, waiting 48 hours and then signing back up again, which can also take 48 hours.

While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date
from the MyRewards page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/). Once your join date has a recent date to signify you creating a brand new
account, then your account has successfully been re-registered. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.

I buy games, get a monthly statement, but never accrue points, in over 4 years! please help.

    Hello joy division 84,

When you register into the Rewards program, we create a Rewards account based on your Microsoft Account region at the time of registration. Since your Rewards Account is a separate entity from your Microsoft Account, migrating your Microsoft Account region
will not also change your Rewards Account region. Since only purchases in your Rewards' regional currency are eligible for Rewards, your USD purchases for your GBR Rewards account were not eligible.

The instructions on migrating your Rewards account are listed in the FAQ:

What if I move to another country or change my region?

Rewards Credits are converted to the currency associated with your original country of enrollment. Any Rewards Credits already deposited are yours to keep, but changing your region will result in us being unable to deposit any Pending Credits that convert
    to your new region's currency.

Not to worry, though! If you would like to continue participating in Xbox Live Rewards, simply opt out of the program and then sign back up again. Your account will start fresh and you'll start earning Rewards
Credits that will convert to your new currency. So, if you're planning on moving, be sure to request your Rewards Credits deposit early before you change your region.

While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date
from the MyRewards page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/). If your join date shows a specific date, then your account has successfully been re-registered. If you see “???” then your account is still
being created. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any currently pending deposits from your old account to your new one.

Bought 100 games and never earned a point since 2012

    Hello BMW X5,

Your Rewards Account was registered into the Great Britain region. Since you have not been making your purchases in pounds, we cannot Reward those purchases. We can only Reward purchases made with the regional currency of your Rewards Account.

If you wish to create a Rewards Account to reward purchases made with the currency of your current Xbox Live region, you will have to opt out of the program at ( https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/ )
, wait 48 hours and then sign back up again, which can also take 48 hours.

While you will lose your progress by starting a brand new account, you can start earning Rewards Credits that will successfully reward your newly registered regional currency. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date
from the MyRewards page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/). If your join date shows a specific date and not a date of "???", then your
account has successfully been re-registered. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one.
