Can I get a refund on a gift sent from a friend through Xbox.

I received a gift, a game from a friend over Xbox. They bought me "said" game and sent me the redemption code in a message over Xbox. They bought the game on there account, and I redeemed it on mine. I realized it was not the game I wanted.

Is there any way to refund it myself or send the gift back, for them to refund it?

Or am I stuck with a game, I didn't want.

Unfortunately since you redeemed the code, it is no longer eligible for a refund.

Your friend can ask for a refund of the game just fine. Just please don't play the game, because if you play it the refund can be denied.

And the limit is 2hours but since it's a gifted game and you redeemed it yoh keep it
