    Can I fix the directX 12 problem?


    I would like to play with Assassins Creed Valhalla. When I start the game, it shows an error 'unable to initialize graphics system. GPU does not support DX12'. My computer says it has DirectX 12. How can i fix this problem? Should I buy a new graphic card? I have AMD Radeon R9 200 series.

    Yeah, it's the graphics card that is the issue. You will have to purchase a new one if you want to play Assassin's Creed Vallhalla

    I have amd radeon r7 m440 which supports dx 12 (feature 12_0) and of course dx 11.. it starts but before loading the menu, it crashes with error on d3d11.dll. somehow it works on intel hd graphics (very slow) which supports dx 12 feature 12_1. So seems to
    be using directx 12 feature 12_1 and not directx 11.

    Is there a way it can be explicitly started uaing directx 11? I don't see anything in the graphics options either.
