Can i find the information I need from the Xbox app?

Sorry to hear about that, however, the only way to retrieve is through the recovery form at https://account.live.com/acsr and provide all the details needed as much as possible to verify the ownership of your account.

You can also try checking your emails for confirmation emails. If you have a PC, you may go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts to see all the Microsoft accounts you own and try them one by one.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Have you tried re-syncing your console to the Xbox app? With certain updates things change and they need to be set up again. The only information I can find on this is from the console unfortunately. There has been a lot
of changes recently, they may have moved all this to the movie and TV app. Which unfortunately is access through a console. You could try accessing the movie app on the Xbox app and then try from there.

Did you preorder a digital of disc copy?. If digital from the Microsoft Store you don't neet a code. You are already in. You can find the Destiny 2 Beta app by searching the store manually.

On the xbox app i saw an option to setup a console. It said i need a code from the console's update screen. What do they by that and how can i find this code?

You can download the app from a Windows device. Additionally, on Xbox is called “Report a problem”.
