What particular games are you talking about?

There are "Xbox Play Anywhere" titles, which are released both on Xbox One and PC. So if you buy it once on Xbox One or PC, you can play it on both.

However, not all Xbox games are "Play Anywhere" titles. A list of

If it's not a Play Anywhere title, you won't be able to play that Xbox game on your PC. And Play Anywhere also only works as a download. You can't use the Xbox disc on your PC to play the game.

As for compatibility with modern Joysticks: As long as the game supports DirectInput (which almost all modern games use), you should be good.

If you are talking about installing Xbox console games to the PC, then that is not possible, but they are Xbox Live enabled PC games on the Microsoft Store on Windows 10. These are basically the same games that you would get on the Xbox Console, but are
made specifically for PC.

I reseted my PC, reinstalled everything, now Xbox app games I can install and play, but now EA desktop app I can not install. Have the EA Desktop app installer downloaded nothing happens even in system admin mode running or makin a Program Files folder with Electronics Arts in the C drive.
Now all my EA desktop games are unplayable.

I just signed up for the Xbox Game Pass for PC. I downloaded Cross Code to my desktop but I also want to play on my laptop. I installed the Game Pass app on both and played for several hours on my desktop. When in installed both again on my laptop the save
for me desktop is not there. Does Game Pass for PC support Cloud saves yet?

Shouldn't be any problem. Your Xbox is basically a computer, just like a desktop PC. Its software and hardware are all designed to have peripherals plugged in continuously.
