Can I download minecraft on my laptop for free if I had already brought it on my mobile?

In March 2021 i brought minecraft on my mobile for 650 rupees. Minecraft is my favourite game.

But now I am willing to play it on my laptop but I don't have that much money to download it.

So, I want to ask that whether I can download it on my laptop for free by linking my mobile's account.

As far as i am aware buying the mobile version only gets you the mobile version. If you want the PC version then youd have to buy the PC version.

Ok I have checked in my account and nothing shows up from the beginning. Did minecraft come free when windows 10 came out? I had vanilla minecraft on here also and i know I had bought that, but iirc the windows version was preloaded on my laptop when i bought
it?

So, the Minecraft has different versions for PC and consoles. They're not the same version, if you bought the xbox version it will not work on your PC, you'll have to buy the windows 10 version or java, to play on PC. :/ What you could do is ask for the refund for the Xbox One version and then, purchase the windows 10 version.
