Can I Download Game and Keep Save?

Hey,

I just wated to ask a few questions.

So my friend gave me a lend of Terraria on Xbox 360, and said I should give it back to him. But I have made a world and gone quite far in it, and I'm really enjoying it. I thought of buying it for myself, but I thought I could maybe install the game onto
my console before I gave it back. But my friend has basically completed the game and I'm worried both of us might lose our game saves. We both play on different Xboxs.

So will my save stay on the hard drive for the disc as well as the console? Will my friend and I still be able to play our worlds from the disc? Will I be able to play online with my friend on the disc and me on the console? Please help and reply if you
know the answers to these questions. Cheers!

Cant Download Dead Rising 2:Off the Record

I go to download the game, and it goes at a good pace, it stops at 23%. It cancels the download, i keep redownloading with no change, can anyone help me?

does your physical location (country) match the country on your account?

If not then the cause is that the game you are downloading isn't available your physical location and that's why it stops downloading. Some games are regionally locked so they can't be downloaded in a different region.

Hi! First off: Save games are never stored on the game (disc or hard drive) itself ever. This is pretty much only the case with systems that use cartridges (like Nintendo 64, handhelds). I assume you are playing the game on your Xbox 360? If so it's depending
what you choose as your save location. Besides your local Xbox 360 hard drive/memory unit you also have the option to save your progress in the Xbox cloud, which is most likely the option you are looking for. See this link for further information about this

Hi there,

save games are by default saved on the console on the Xbox 360 (or cloud when that is selected) so the save isn't located on the disc.

If you used your own account then that save is linked to your account and present on your console (I assume you played it on your console)

If so then you can give the disc back and after you purchased the game (on disc or digitally) you can continue with your save game and your friend can play his save game on their console (assuming they played it on their console)

So in short, if you both used your own consoles and accounts then you both will be able to continue the game where you left off via your account their save games.

 

Ye thanks but I want to know if I can select the option to install it to my console from the disc and continue my game there. Would that work? If it does will I still be able to play on a disc aswell?
