Can I download a delisted game which I just purchased?

I got a code for F1 2019 from a friend as a gift, but found out that the game has been delisted a while ago. I thought that I would be able to download it by redeeming the code. Will I be able to do so? If not, is there any other way to download the game on my Xbox? Thank you.

Hi Chroma766608 I'd love to help.

Yes, you could. Just go to your order history in your console by following these steps:

-Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

-Select Settings > Account >Payment & billing > Order history

Select the game and Select View in Store to download

Or simply open your Xbox app on your phone and search for the game and remotely install the game.

You would just have to try redeeming the code. If it works, then you can install the game.

The game was bought before being delisted so I assume it will work.

That still wouldn't guarantee it will work if you redeem it after it's been delisted.
