  2. Connecting the Gamepad Xbox one to a PC without batteries

Is it possible to connect the Gamepad without batteries by usb?

As far as I remember on the Xbox 360 Gamepad, it was not recommended to turn on the power on usb without batteries.

A couple quick questions regarding Xbox One Wired 'PC' Version Gampad

Hello, community Can I disable the Xbox One gamepad without taking out the batteries :D

I was looking for some quick input/feedback regarding an issue I am having with a recently purchased gamepad. I bought the gamepad at a major retailer, and it is a wired Xbox One gamepad designed specifically for use on a PC. I understand that it doesn't support
wireless capability. And I'm ok with that, as I don't enjoy latency issues with my gaming controls. However, there still exists an empty battery bay on the back of it, whereby I could install batteries if I wanted to. A similar question has arisen in the past:

Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

However, I have the opposite problem as the OP to that post. I -want- to install batteries into my wired controller. The reason for this is because without the extra weight of the gamepad, it feels far too light in my hands and doesn't offer proper counterbalance
and feels awkward during rumble. So all in all, my questions are as follows:

Would installing batteries into this gamepad just for the extra weight cause any issues within the gamepad itself?

Would it cause damage to the gamepad if I used 'dead' batteries, or non-alkaline batteries?

Why in the world is there an empty battery bay in the back of my gamepad when it has no wireless support whatsoever?

XBOX Series Controller gamepad for PC LED X-button White light is the reason for the batteries not lasting more than 30-40 hrs average (without vibration)?

I have got me finally a F710 gamepad controller and abandoned completely the power hungry XBOX Series gamepad controller. Battery life is now 100+ hours with vibration disabled.

Xbox Play and Charge kit; does it come with everything?

    Hi.

I had some problems with the two brands for play and charge. Hama and Speed link.

Hama had some visual defects, but technically it was relatively ok

Speedlinkl It has technical problems: the battery is discharging very quickly.

After a full charge if I put the battery out of the gamepad, in three days is completely discharged..

When I changed the brand I wanted to buy the original play and charge kit. This one

    www.xbox.com/.../play-and-charge-kitMy
gamepad is for windows with a receiver

But the guy at the store, in which I did not really trust, He told me that this is only for xbox.

Then I bought Speedlink which was found to be defective.

So Tomorrow I go to the store to return it and I want to know if the original play and charge kit It can charge the battery from pc?

    1. My gamepad is for windows with a receiver

Question: The Gamepad for xbox (console) and one for Pc (Windows) are the same?

my Opinion: My logic, I must believe that they are teh same, the only difference is that the gamepad for pc has a receiver for sincronization.

    2. People from xbox. fabricated a PC gamepad with receiver.

Question: where is the play and charging kit for PC?

my Opinion: The cable from play and charge kit is only for charging, with USB jack

It is just a charging cable with a rechargeable battery.

If the gamepad for xbox is the same with gamepad for pc, only difference is that the gamepad for pc has a receiver

Why the cable would not fit to PC?

    3. So. Can I buy the original Play and charge kit to charge my gamepad from PC or not?

    Thank you!

    $399

Wait two years and you will get a Xbox one for 399 $/€....Remember when the PS3 came out it was more expensive...And take off everything from the Xbox one, just to have the same price than a PS4,is a bad idea.Or they can also sells only the Xbox one without
    cables,gamepad,kinect and sells it for 299 $/€ ;)
