    Can I change Welcome Name?


    As odd as it may seem my question is really lame but I am gonna ask anyways. When I start up my Xbox 1 S it says Hi and my name in small letters. Only on the console shows my name in small letters and it bothers me. Is there a way to fix that or have it
    say another name of my choosing like when I gave the console itself and external Hard Drive a name? When I check my account on my PC my name is correct. If I were to save games and apps to External Hard Drive and reset console. Would that do the trick? Or
    can I start a new Avatar under the same account? Which, in that case I need a new gamer tag, correct? Basically, can I change the name my console says when I turn it on? And if so, how?

    https://account.live.com     . Under Overview click Edit Name. Whatever value is entered in the First Name field will be how your Xbox One greets you.
