Can I change my account's age setting?

Is there any way you can change your age on your account so I can change my privacy setting ?

Alright done that, I also power cycled the Xbox after doing so. It still gives me the error "a child account can't change these settings" as outlined above

As additional info I can link my social accounts to my Xbox account and we now have the same Xbox settings. Something to do with age possibly? I have changed his age restrictions to any age already without success.

nope changing the age or your account nor the email age will wokr

It is set when you originally created the xbox live account and can never be changed you can only promote when it's of age

Hi I've had my account a while now I've only just noticed my age is set to 2010 making me 12

I have the account linked to my pc laptop gamepass and now my xbox

I can't edit being 12 so added an organiser to the family and can't edit through that member is there anyway I can change the age its driving me nuts. Many thanks

There is no way to change the age on your Xbox account. You can change the age on your Microsoft account but this will in no way affect your Xbox account

You can't once set the age of an account can never be changed till it reaches the age of maturity

So if you set it at the latest possible if I remember correctly that was 1999 or 2 something you will have to wait till it reaches 18

If it has reached the age of maturity it will have promote child account to adult account under account management
