    Can I change from joystick to dpad in madden17


    I would rather use the dpad instead of using the joystick, however in the settings it doesn’t allow you to change the mapping of the joystick to the dpad. Is there some way of doing that?

    Use dpad for madden 17 instead of joy stick

    Xbox one I want to use the dpad instead of the joystick for madden17 and how do you adjust the sensitivity of the joysticks

    XBOX one initial set up.

    Updated fine but when I go through the menus to set the time date etc I press 'down' using the joystick or the dpad and it immediately returns to the first option without giving me chance to select another option. Any way to re-install updates??

    Only if the game supports that option.

    The Xbox has the option to swap sticks or triggers but if the game is coded to use a stick, you'll need to look into the game to see if it supports what you're looking for

    I tried this also, but in that menu it still tries to scroll down even if it only takes input from the dpad...

    I've noticed something weird today if I hold up from the dpad I can use the joystick to move around with no problem, as soon as I release the dpad it starts scrolling down again.

    I got one about two months back and i absolutely love it from the textured grips to the customization of the joystick sensitivety and being able to change the joystick and dpad out only thing i dont really use is the back bumpers hardly they get in the
    way with rpg but are really good for fps games

    Would xbox be willing to make a controller with semetrical joysticks

    My thumb lays naturally towards the xbox Dpad not the joystick, plus the xbox controller is almost to small for my hands so I have to roll my thumb forward to even get to the joystick on the left side. The playstation controller is thicker and and wider which fits my hand size better. So my thumbs rest more naturally with its joysticks.

    This isn't really a satisfactory answer I know....but in the mean time I've been told that if you wiggle to left joystick when this happens the dpad starts functioning again. Beyond that I would try alerting the devs through their feedback channel.
