Can I buy a $35 dollar game with a $25 redeem Xbox money and combine with the credit card?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there's anyway possible for me to buy a game that cost $35 dollar with the amount of money that I have left in my Xbox Account and combine that with a credit card?

So, to explain it more clearly. I want to buy Fifa 15 - which cost $35 dollars right now - but I only have $25 dollars in my account. However, I can add a credit card to it, but I was wondering if it will combine the amount of money that I have on my account
already with the credit card or not?

Or will it just charge all of the $35 dollars from the credit card? (Which I do not want.)

not recieved game and store credit as promised

On black Friday I ordered the one terabyte xbox one s with the gears of war bundle, because of the day there was also another game and a 25 dollar store credit promised. When the bundle was shipped I received all except the game ( I chose watchdogs) and
the 25 dollar store credit, how can I acquire these promised items?

 

Gift Card download

I bought a 45 dollar gift card. I entered the 25 key redeem code....it accepted it, but it didnt add money to my xbox live account....now i cant find the redeem code again.

 

the way i understand it will charge the

full amount to your credit card it might be best to have microsoft support to see if you can use 10 dollars out of the credit card

 

Problem Solved! I just had to click "confirm" and it asked me if I wanted to use the amount in my account, and have the card pay the rest. So yeah, it worked out. Thanks though!

 

Beat me to it. The system will always try to defer to your currency amount first.
