Can I backup game saves to a cloud with Microsoft Store?

Hi there,

I'm looking to reset my PC but do not want to loose my game saves for FH4 from the Microsoft Store. Is there a way that I can save the game saves and to a cloud so that when the game is reinstalled, it will still have my game data and saves. I understand that steam have an in built system (Seems much better and user friendly). But, I am wondering if there is a way for the Microsoft Store games? Looking forward to the response.

the majority of the store and xbox app games don't use cloud saves, you need to backup manually.

i use the following program to backup all saves on pc before doing a refresh. make sure to backup to a folder and copy that folder to an external storage area, then use the same app to restore them.

i take no responsibility for any data loss though.

will you do some research for once, 80% of all pc games saves are not uploaded to the cloud via xbox app or windows store.

I think I will just do it all manually I found the files and I’m hoping copying and replacing the files when reinstalled will work🤞. Microsoft really should have a cloud that can sync all of the games though!

If you're signed in while playing, your saves are already stored on the cloud and will sync up when you reinstall the game.

Just make sure to signing with the same account you're using when you try to reinstall your game...
