  1. Can I back up settings from more than 1 xbox to external hdd?

In preparation for X release, we are able to back up current system settings to our external hdd. Does anyone know if you can back up settings from more than one system to the same external? My plan is to move my xbox s to lr to replace my OG day 1. And
then put X in br to replace the S. I have external on the OG and have checked box to keep apps up to date and dl 4k assets. Not sure if this is working but GoW is 104gb for example. So really what I want is the games from the OG external to be 4k ready but
would prefer the settings that are on the S since this is physically where the X will go. Does this make sense lol? Thanks.

    :)

Media player not recognizing USB 3.0 hard drive after recent update

I have 2x Seagate 1TB Slim external HDDs (one for Xbox 1, the other to back up my videos and pictures on my PC). And my Xbox 1 recognizes BOTH. What sort of external HDD's are you using? People should stop bashing the new Windows 10 UI on Xbox 1. It's way
faster to navigate the Windows 10-like UI on Xbox 1 than that Windows 8 UI hunk which is considerably slower at loading stuff than the new UI which Xbox 1 has.

  3. Syncing data for Fallout 4, Something went wrong error

This is what worked for me

    1. Move all game content from external HDD/SSD to internal storage (if its on an external drive)

    2. Reboot Router

    3. Go to wireless network settings/alternate MAC address then press clear

    4. Xbox will restart

    5. Once back on disable auto sign in (optional but makes it easier)

    5. Put xbox into offline mode (network settings)

    6. Hard reboot

    7. Once back on turn online mode back on

    8. Start fallout 4

    9. choose profile (who are you pops up)

    10. syncing should start and complete if it worked

Which Xbox One Should I Get- 500gb or 1tb

IMO, If deciding to go with the 500 GB system and the external HDD then I would put a little more with it and get a larger external HDD than 1 GB. You sound like someone that plans on having a lot of games so you would probably be better suited with a larger
    external HDD.

Want and Need bigger HDD...bigger than 320

Hey, as far as I'm aware 320 GB is the largest HDD currently in production, however you can purchase an external hard drive and connect it via USB which can be formatted and used for space. External hard drives are available with more than 1 TB of space,
which should be more than sufficient. Hope this helps.

I still haven't seen a proper explanation for update sizes

^ I would agree to an extent with that, and add.

500 GB INTERNAL HDD with Kinect. They then removing the Kinect so that the X1 could chew gum while walking. "Time Slice" I think they called it.

Next, if memory serves. You got EXTERNAL HDD Support, because I FEEL that they knew the X1 would need a tone of HDD space to hold all those games/apps/updates.

Reason I say ^ is because the 20 GB Xbox 360, went from ? HDD Space - 500 GB and you HAD to pay dearly to go from 20 - 60 then more $ to go from 60 - 120 - 250 - 500 GB and so on, and so forth over the years. Yet with the X1 it was almost overnight that
they allowed External HDD support for even more than 1 External HDD.

What sizes external HDD you getting?

I was told there was a cap: 16TB for each of the 2 HDDs you're allowed to attach to your console. This means you can have a maximum of 32TB (2 external HDDs) and 500GB (1 internal, non-removable HDD). Despite the limitation, that's still a lot! In fact,
it's 64.5x more space than what you have with the Xbox One now!!! *mind blown*
