Can I as a Mac user play Ark with friends who use Xbox and PC?

I'm afraid playing Ark with your friends won't be possible unless you access the game from the Xbox App on a Windows PC or through an Xbox console.

Ark Survival Evolved does allow Cross-play with PC and Xbox consoles. I used my PC to host a dedicated server for about 2 months for me and a bunch of friends to play together on our own server. We all connected to the server from our Xbox consoles. Do you

I ran Ark through this program and was able to invite my Xbox friends to it much easier. It also allowed my friends to add the server as a friend and jump in whenever they wanted. If you do not Plan on using the Xbox companion app
on your PC, you can always host your server and give your Xbox friend the server name and password that you create and they can go in to "Join an Ark" then filter the servers shown to quickly find yours and join it.

Hello! I believe when it comes to servers you have the option of playing with your Xbox console friends so long as you have the Microsoft (Windows) version of Ark. Unfortunately, if you purchased the PC version via Steam you can only play on the Steam
server with other PC users.

This is about the microsoft version of ark i have checked everything on my pc and everything is updated and is working fine. Even my friend with the same pc can still play it.

I dont see the big deal in apple products. At the same price as a standard MacBook, I can buy a PC with more RAM, more Hard Drive space, and much better specs. Most of the people I know who own Apple products like a Mac, iPhone, etc. are pompous a-holes.
Now, Im not saying if you have an iPhone/Pad/Pod/Mac, youre a pompous a-hole, Im just stating through experience most people I know who own more than 1 apple product think theyre better than anyone who has a PC or Android.

Mac is just a generally better product. Macbooks are faster, easier, and more user-friendly. And not having to worry about antivirus and internet slow-downs is AWESOME. All the add-ons kills my browser for my PC, and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Ive used macs, dont care for them. The not having to worry about viruses is nice, but besides editing, nearly everything a mac does, a PC can do better. What Id be paying for a Mac, I could get a better PC with higher specs, bigger RAM, and bigger memory.
Macs arent worth it. Its like the iPhone vs Android, Ive used my friends iPhone, and I have an Android, I feel what my Android does, does much better than the iPhone.
