Can gaming solve a real life problem?

Sometimes i just need to decompress from a bad day, gaming helps out. I was diagnosed with severe PTSD & depression among other things while in the Army. So yea gaming can help out, but like anything use moderately.

Gaming helped me too become more aware of things going on in my life and more appriciative of the rewards they bring.

Gaming helps sharpen skills logically based like reasoning, but i think it also could help with more personal situations as a kind of unwinder more so than bigger situations

I believe in the healing power of the games. This may seem a bit exaggerated, but playing has been a good relief in my crises of anxiety and depression.. Of course, along with a psychological accompaniment.

I do believe gaming can help you relax and relive some stress that you may have. I know it definitely helps me. I have anxiety and it helps me relax and just enjoy what i am doing. I love the Assassins Creed series. All the different things they incorporate
in the game are just amazing.

I learned to buy and sell, or rather gained the confidence to buy and sell at a profit, through the AH in WoW. I took what I learned from that game and used it to make a fair bit of money buying and selling in the real world. So, maybe not solving a problem,
as such. But gaming definitely helped me grow and be a better person IRL
