CAN CRASHES DAMAGE THE XBOX ONE X ?

Hello,

I bought Call of Duty Cold War by the Microsoft Store 2 weeks ago and the game has already crashed several times by switching off the console completely.

To be honest, I am afraid that it will damage my Xbox and that is why I am asking the question : can crashes damage the xbox one x ?

I thank you all in advance for your answers and I hope with all my heart that this will not damage my console.

All games on the Xbox One run in a more or less virtualized environment. So the game can't access the hardware in a way to be able to damage it.

If a game crashes in the virtual environment, and you can still access the Guide menu to end the game, your console is in perfect working order (regarding hardware).

Everything else can be resolved by a reboot of the console. Or in severe cases by re-installing the system from an USB stick.

But no hardware can be damaged by the game crashing.

Can you explain what you mean by "crashed cartoon"? Do you mean "damaged box"?

And is this service "media markt polish" a retail store or a place like ebay? If it's not a retail store then warranty does not transfer to the second owner.

If you buy it from them and it's damaged it is the store's responsibility to give you a new one, not xbox's warranty repair service - if they damaged it it's not within warranty.

I'm having the same issue on my Xbox one X, it started with Warzone crashing due to corrupt files. Then my other games started crashing

Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.
