Can anyone help? Update is stuck at 84%applying

Just switched on and off... still stuck!

Mine is stuck in applying update. I've tried the system tool but its stuck again in applying updates. Won't do reset either.

Preview member here, tried to update Saturday, March 11th, and mine is doing the same thing. It took forever to boot, then tried to update, downloaded and verified just fine, but when it tried to apply, it hit 84% and was stuck there for hours. I then got
the same E106 error you received, along with how it freezes when you try to do any of the options listed. I have tried everything, from power cycling, unplugging it and then rebooting, even an offline update, nothing works. I also get 2 other error messages
from time to time, E102 and E100.

I have yet to find anyone who can help me with info on this error. Microsoft wants to charge me $100+ to repair it since it is no longer under warranty.

If I find out any info, I'll pass it on.

You most likely are in need of a repair then. Since you did offline update a week ago and was having issues with that. You can go to
device support, to see if in warranty and also set up a repair. You can also request a call from support to help set up
a repair. Another option if you have a Microsoft store close to you, can take the console there and see what they can do.

When you go to Contact Us to get it to request a chat follow these steps:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
  
• Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
  
• Step 3-----select show contact options
  
  Step 4 ----select request call from support
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Yes i had the same problem one week ago.I solved it with offline update after many attempts.Today i have the same problem,the update stucks at 58%.At troubleshotting page i dont have the option for offline update.
