Can anyone help me?

So after spending an hour being hung up on 6 times and transferred to 10 people, the consensus is no one in the xbox support or windows support know how to help me so please, community, I need you, it's a simple question.

If I use the Xbox application for Windows 10 to add games to my Xbox Library from my PC and nothing happens, do I have to repurchase GTAV, Overwatch, and Minecraft just to play them on my Xbox One S? I already own the games on my laptop, just
want to transfer them to my console. One lady suggested using a flash drive because that's how they get Xbox 360 to transfer.

Hey In Reverie,

All your listed games arent part of the PlayAnywhere Programm. That means basically that These games are seperated between PC and Console. If you own them for PC you cant Play them on the Console. If you want to Play them on the Console you would Need to
repurchase These items.

If you bought the Xbox One Version of These Games in the Xbox Store in the Xbox App its a different Situation. If you use the same Account that you have used to purchase them in the App/Online Store on the Xbox One S Console you can download these games
there without rebuying them.

Some Games are playable on the Console and PC with only one Version purchased. e.g. Forza Horizion 3, Recore. More Info on that can be found here:

Im assuming your Situation is the first i described. If its that you would Need to repurchase them on the Console.

Have you checked the Xbox Marketplace? Did a quick search and found it. I wouldn't by the NTSC version as it won't work on a UK console since those are PAL formatted and usually you can't play one format game on a different format console.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for assistance on this issue keeping you from downloading your games.

Have you tried by any chance downloading by being connected wirelessly? How about resetting your network connection by turning off and unplugging the console and then disconnecting your network hardware for 2 minutes?

If your network has been ok so far, I would also suggest this great general troubleshooting step we have called a soft reset.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games
&
apps.

Follow the steps here on How
to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox Oneand let us know how that helps with the issue.
