Can anyone help me get started on insider?

In order to gain access to the forum, you need the Ambassador tag. There is currently an issue with giving the tag to anyone who did not complete the getting started mission before April 1. Once that is fixed, you will get the tag and also get access to
the forum. Until then, if you need help with the program, you'll want to reach out to a CM or you can join the Discord server.

The Insider tag on the forum is for Windows Insider, not Xbox Insider. There is not a tag for Xbox Insiders on the forum.

It never started for my last character, or I just never noticed or bothered talking to anyone. My newest character, started on my FIRST visit!

If you can, pick the lock to get into the house. In my case, when it locked up everyone was day (the mom across the street was supposed to have a key, but she died, leading me to guess I just missed it). If you can get inside, you can collect the stuff
and advance the quest that way... MAYBE. Many people find this doesnt help them either.

Have you checked the Xbox Marketplace? Did a quick search and found it. I wouldn't by the NTSC version as it won't work on a UK console since those are PAL formatted and usually you can't play one format game on a different format console.
