Can anyone fix PC not recognizing elite 2 controller via bluetooth?

Here are the things we need to check first :

1. Windows Update

Please make sure that your device is up to date : On your PC select Start > Settings > Windows Update

2. Xbox Accessories Update

Xbox Accessories app on your computer should also be updated.

Go to Microsoft Store > select the three horizontal dots in the top left corner > select “Downloads and updates”.

You can download the Xbox Accessories Update through Microsoft store if you do not have it downloaded yet.

Open Xbox Accessories App, connect your controller to your PC. I would prefer to use a cable once connected, you should see your controller shows up as a device within the app. Select the double burger icon or the three horizonal dots under your controller image, and then select “Update now” if available. Keep your controller connected as the update completes.

If it is still recognized as a generic controller, try manually installing the driver. Follow the steps below:

Press Windows Key + X and choose Device Manager from the list.

Once Device Manager opens, locate and right-click Xbox One Controller.

From the menu choose Update Driver Software.

Click on Browse my computer for driver software.

Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Locate Microsoft Xbox One Controller on the list and click Next to install it. If you can’t locate Microsoft Xbox One Controller driver, you might have to uncheck Show compatible hardware option.

My elite 2 when connected to PC via bluetooth loses connection and I am also experiencing sudden frame rate drops which I do not see when playing it with wired or keyboard or mouse. I did not had any issues with Elite 1 which connected via a usb
dongle. I updated the controller and the bluetooth feature is broken. Anyone got it to work on PC via bluetooth without any issues?

exactly the same issue here, have no problem with using my xbox one s controller on PC, but lots of disconnections and frame rate drops with elite 2

Did you find a solution to this problem? I updated my Elite series 2 yesterday, and now I have the exact same problem. Elite series 2 is recognized as a regular xbox controller and does connect via bluetooth, but doesnt work. Connected via USB-c the XBOX accessories app doesnt even recognize it...

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didnt help.

Same here. It works fine for about an hour or two then it just disconnects. My windows and controller is updated so I don't know what else to do.

My elite serios 2, RT and LT buttons don't work when I connect it to my mobile(Huawei P20) via bluetooth. Anyone know how can I fix this?!?
