I don't think they need that many workers. Maybe for the first month there will be a flow of people buying the Xbox One but I don't think that much to hire 17,000 extra workers. So they are obviously expecting high numbers. In the hundred thousands if they hired 17,000 new workers. They would have to sell 150,000 to pay for the workers alone.Click to expand...

The article says the workers are not really for their retail locations though.

Just to note, other people have claimed to find a glitch to pre-order games for free and it's actually not a glitch. If you purchase a pre-order with a credit card, you are not charged until about 10 days before the game is released. So there are people
who have tried purchasing a pre-order with a card that has no money on it or something similar and the purchase appears to have gone through when that's actually not the case. The order will actually be cancelled when Microsoft is unable to charge the account.

That's the first thing I tried, but they don't let me get in touch with them. The only options available are the virtual assistant (which is useless) and the forums. They don't give me the chance to talk to a microsoft worker and it's quite frustrating to be
honest.
