    Hello I'm contacting this community to discuss the modding of xbox consoles, if that's okay. Does anyone know if an xbox live account can connect to a modded console without internet?

    Achievements aren't updating when I go online.

    Why? It's easier to have it so they can't mod at all rather than deal with individual cases.

    It's not punishing the masses because the majority of xbox console owners have broadband & can connect to xbox live.
    It's not easier because people who don't have Internet have to either get all the achievements before they play online, or constantly find Internet to update. Microsoft tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

    Is there a way to get more security for the original xbox console from 2001?

    The original Xbox consoles no longer connect to Xbox Live. There is need for any additional 'security'. as these consoles can not connect to the internet.
