Can a controller and headset both connect to a single Xbox USB stick on a Windows 10 PC?

So I use my Xbox controller for a lot of games that I play on my PC.

The controller in connected to a xbox usb stick.

Now I want to buy a headset (Turtle Beach Stealth 600) but it requires a xbox usb stick to connect to the PC.

So now I was wondering if I can connect both my controller and the headset to the same usb stick without having any issues.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

    :)

Only one Headset giving sound over XBOX Wireless controller via Wireless Adapter for Windows 10

    Hi Microsoft Support team,

I have connected, over Windows 10 PC, my two XBOX Wireless Controllers via Wireless Adapter for Windows 10. And connected my two Headsets to each of the two Controllers ( with 3.5 mm jack). However, at a time only one controller is providing the sound.
I have tested with connecting both the controllers separately and then Headsets work fine. But when both are connected, only one of them provides sound.

Could you please suggest a solution for this so that both Headsets connected to separate Wireless controllers can provide sound.

    Thanks,

    Naresh

Hi, Since that headset uses the Xbox wireless technology, then yes you can connect the Xbox One controller & the headset to the Xbox USB stick (Xbox wireless PC adapter)

Xbox 360 and Xbox one controller for PC

Many PC games let you play with an Xbox Wireless Controller instead of a keyboard or mouse. You can connect your controller to a Windows PC by using a USB cable, the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, or over Bluetooth. Some PCs also come with Xbox
Wireless built in, so you can connect a controller directly without an adapter.
The Xbox 360 Controller for Windows can be easily installed on any PC that has an available USB port and is running Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7.

    Xbox One Controller Extender

    Hello Matutu,

By USB adapter, you're talking about the one designed for Windows, right? The little USB dongle that plugs into a PC and allows controllers to connect wirelessly.

I don't *think* this works on the console itself, but I cannot be sure. I would advise against spending money on that as a solution in the way you describe.

However, there are a couple alternatives:

-- If you don't mind using the controller as a wired controller, you can run a USB from console to where you play and plug the controller in.

-- Alternatively, using a Windows 10 PC in the location you actually play, you can stream the Xbox One's video output to the PC, but, more importantly for you, you can stream controller inputs back from PC to Xbox One.

Elaborating on the Windows 10 example, even if you plan to play on a TV (directly connected via HDMI to the console, or however the setup is currently), you can have a Windows 10 PC in the room to which you stream the video output across the local network
(PC can be connected by wire to router for minimal latency), and to the PC you can either connect the controller by USB cable OR use the Wireless Adapter and have the controller connected to the PC wirelessly. In both cases, controller inputs go from Windows
10 PC back to console, and for video you could be looking at either your existing monitor or Windows 10 PC.

With the Windows 10 setup, with controller inputs and video output now being transmitted across the local network, you may introduce some latency to your gaming, but there's not really any good way to know before you try. If the PC is wired to the router,
the latency should be minimal, but I cannot say for certain. What I do know is that I have streamed the Xbox One video output to my own PC (both connected wirelessly to router) on the highest settings, with a controller connected via USB to console, and I
have not had any significant performance issues.

my party-chat goes automaticly to my xbox app at win 10, but i want to here my party at the xbox one

    Hey there!

Thanks for posting. While streaming your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC, it is by design that Xbox Live parties are prioritized on Windows 10 at that point.

However, if you own a Micro USB cable or the Xbox One Wireless Controller Adapter for your Windows 10 PC, you can use the Xbox One Chat Headset on Windows 10 for Xbox Live Parties. Check out our

Troubleshoot the Xbox One Chat Headset on Windows 10
article for steps on how that set up should look.

    Hope that helps!

    XBOX accessories issue

    Hi,

The Xbox One Wireless Controller can be used to play Xbox games on your PC when connected via micro-USB cable or a wireless USB adapter. To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

    • Are you trying to use an Xbox Elite Controller?
    • Are you using a micro-USB or a wireless USB adapter to connect the controller to your PC?
    • Do you receive the same message when using the controller on the Xbox App?
    • Have you installed the drivers for the controllers on your Windows 10 PC?

In the meantime, we suggest that you connect the controller via Bluetooth by following the steps on this

    link
to check if the issue is with the controller or the configuration settings on your computer.
