    Call of Duty: WaW (Xbox live servers)


    For some strange reason I am only able to find a xbox live match when choosing a Team Deathmatch lobby. The servers are not allowing me to search for other available lobbies on other game types. I am put into a lobby by myself and no one joins. Is this happening to anyone else? Is this something Xbox is working on to correct?

    This also occurred when I tried this on MW 2.

    call of duty DOES use servers, just not dedicated servers. why do you think it says "the call of duty servers are unavailable at this time. please try later" error message. the gamer connects to xbox live, then to a secondary connection namely the call of
    duty servers, then its peer 2 peer.

    Actually, I am a fan of the Call of Duty franchise, and have also noticed this in WaW.

    This is caused by a JTag console being the host of an online game this give them the ability to modify the server and in WaW and other Call of Duty games, and in WaW specifically they can mod your gamerscore without having access to your account. One of
    my friends has had this happen and his gamerscore is still the same and he was never banned or suspended for it. As I Dashboard it said I would recommend reporting him.

    This is most common in zombies online.
