Been having connection trouble with NAT type for past few weeks . X Box series X NAT type is open as are all other Call of Duty. NAT type on Vanguard is moderate Tried port forwarding, reinstalling game but nothing seems to work . All this happened before the recent update. Also for some reason when in a game the names of the other players are those names that are used when you play a private game and not the real names of the people in the lobby. This is very strange as i can not chat or listen to people in the lobby. I have another profile on the X Box and the names in the lobby are the real ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i was enjoying the game before all of this happened. Thank you

I've noticed my game will start to update once I enter Multiplayer mode. It'll complete the update, I re-enter the Multiplayer screen, and it needs to update again. This cycle continues and doesn't seem to stop (I usually give up and try again a few days later or reinstall the game entirely). I've tried the Reset Xbox fix mentioned in this thread and no luck for this issue. Any other possible solutions out there?

This could be due to a cache issue and can be solved trough this step:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

Restart your Xbox console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I don’t play private matches mate . always just random lobby . but since update can’t even get into lobby .. 🙄

Today for first time managed to get into lobby , but when searching for other players in quads keep getting kicked off online services…

You can use this as a temporary workaround.
