    I have a problem with cod vaguard. Sometimes i can't play the game my controller disconnects from the game and xbox. It doesn't shut itself down i still can hear the game and my party chat. but i cant play the game and use the xbox menu the controller locks itself. Its so frustrating.

    Its happening almost every single matches. and its just happening on cod vanguard. I serached the internet for a solution and i didn't even find anyone experiencing this problem. I tried to update my controller (btw i am playing on series s console) reinstall the game twice and its still happening . Sorry for my bad english im just trying to explain the problem. Please HELP!

    Vanguard Controller issue ...

    Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

    Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

    I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

    I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

    I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

    Same problem here. Im on series X. It seems to be a controller issue with that particular game. I used a xbox one x controller and it worked perfect. Its been doing this to me since day one of Vanguard. But it doesnt do it on other games. Hope you get it fixed! I know how aggravating it is.

    I have the same problem. Its been months and call of duty has still not fixed the issue. The problem is having a wired headset connected to your controller. This is a glitch which COD has to fix. Nothing is wrong with the console. When you navigate the game menu disconnect your headset and it will work fine and wont disconnect. If it does disconnect in game or anything, just disconnect your headset for 5 seconds and it will reconnect.
