Call of Duty MW2 Family Game sharing on our separate consoles. Did something change?

Kindly make sure that your account where the game was purchased is still set as Home Xbox by following the steps below:

"1. Sign in to your account.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox"."

Hello Tristan, sorry to hear you're having trouble with Sharing.

I'm afraid the Friends & Family pass only shares access to the Game Pass and its features. If you're looking to share your purchased games then that is only possible via the Home setting on the console. Once an account is set as Home on a console then that accounts purchased games can be shared on that console without issue. Any other console would need to have the account that purchased the games logged in while others play.

Yes, we did not purchase any games and do not plan on sharing any purchased games. We bought the family and friends pass, and we want to play games that are on the Xbox Game Pass but we want to play these games on our separate consoles, using the 5 accounts and 5 separate consoles that we registered on the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family. Only 2 of us are now able to access game pass on our separate consoles, whereas the other 3 are not able to connect to Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family even though we all subscribed using the link provided by the person who bought the Xbox Game Pass Family and Friends. All of us show up on the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family but not all of us are able to access its features.

Keep in mind vault edition dlc is not sharable as it's account specific

I understand you need help on your game sharing feature.

Just a heads up, there is no such thing as family share for games and console but what is available on Xbox is the Home Xbox sharing feature in which you can set up home Xbox on another console from the account that owns the game so that the other console can be played by other profiles with the game that the account owns.

To set this up, you have to sign in to the profile that owns the game on the console you want to share and make it as home Xbox so that other profile can play their games.

It can between 2 consoles. I have been doing that for years. It's called family sharing or something.
