    Call Of Duty Modern Warfare won't update over hotspot/Wifi


    I need help bad. Has anyone else using a mobile hotspot/Wifi had a problem with the Dec 4th update for the new MW? I've had it updating since 8pm yesterday on mobile hotspot until about 3pm today, it hasnt moved from 13.9% (233.02mb out of 1.64gb) and
    when i retry it says installation stopped. So i tried going to my friends house and using his WiFi and still no updating. My only option is going almost 50 miles from my house to get Ethernet to update but i don't have the gas to do that. Is there any fixes
    or does anyone know if the update is Ethernet only?

    The update is not 1.64 gb its just install the thing he download you know when he download a many of files the xbox install them and then the download is stop just dont touch it and let it finish after a couple of whiles you will see that it will resume
    download and the size of the update is 19 gb if you dont understand tell me

    If it ever happens again, you can try disconnecting the Hotspot you’re using, then reconnecting it again. Whenever my Xbox has a problem with updating and downloading games or other software, I reconnect to my WiFi and it works perfectly fine after. If
    that won’t work, I would recommend contacting Xbox Support. They can probably help you out.

    Like the post said, i use a hotspot, how would resetting a router help? Think before you post something unhelpful.

    I would try going to your providers' website and see if there is like an outage on certain points :)
