    Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Unplayable Lag


    Heya everyone,

    For the last 2 weeks, I've been playing the new Call of Duty a lot and I'm really enjoying it. But, every online multiplayer match that I play has a lot of lag and strutters. I have never been in a game where the ping/latency was under 200. Most times I
    have to play with 500 ping and that's just unplayable for fast pace shooter. My wifi connection to my Xbox is 150 MB/s download and 100MB/s upload when I do a speed test on my Xbox. Also, I have the latest Beta update version of Xbox. And yes I know it's not
    the fault of my Xbox FYI Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Unplayable Lag :)

    Does anyone have the same problem as me when playing Modern Warfare online, or does anyone know how to fix this unplayable lag?

    you might want to look at getting a static ip set, usually done through your router settings. if you cant do it then you isp tech team should be able to help.

    you could also try clearing your alternate mac address.

    You Should try Testing It With/without the router and checking how it runs If without the router you still get some Lag Then It has To Be Something else. I have 100/mbps And so far it runs Very Well I Havent Had issues with CoD At All.

    Not seen problems myself, what is your NAT type set to?

    WiFi can have issues with FPS games too if there is interferance on the signal, can you hard wire your console in to your modem and give it a try?
