    Call of Duty Modern Warfare stuck after Warzone patch


    I purchased the standard Call of Duty Modern Warfare back in December and it has been fine until this past week. The warzone patch crashed and essentially erased my game. Every time I try to reinstall it, it freezes at 17.91GB and won't progress
    any further. I have already tried restarting the machine, pulling the cord out for five minutes, restarting the router and downloading the patches first and then trying to go back to the game. Any thoughts on what else to do?

    Did you purchase Call of Duty Modern Warfare?

    Call of Duty Warzone is free to download and play with an active Xbox Live subscription. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare campaign is not.

    I'm sorry, but this is thee Most misleading piece of advertising I have ever seen.

    On the Store is clearly states

    Call of Duty: Warzone

    Includes:

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - Content Pack 4

    When you download it requires campaign download. When you load up Warzone it takes you to an additional download page for Warzone and Modern Warfare II. Yet still requires you to pay.

    Sorry but this needs correcting, at no point, anywhere does it state that all you get is Warzone. Why add, includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II if it doesn't. You need to either change this description to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - Warzone or your clearly in breach of false advertising.

    I had done that before, but I finally did get it to work yesterday. What I did was instead of going to the queue from the My games and app page which I had been doing, I stayed on the game's page in the microsoft store. Everytime it froze I hit the
    restart in there and it moved it passed the 17.91 block. I am not sure why this didn't work from under the queue in the My games and app page, but it's up now so that is good. Thanks for trying though!

    This happened to me in the second season update, it didn't end, I unfortunately had to uninstall the entire game and install it again, just so it worked.
