Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 cloud save data not working.

Hello all,

So I've recently attampted to play throguh CD MW2 again but have some across a rather annoying issue in which each time I boot up the game (digital version) in my xbox one. I am prompted to set up screen brightness, width and height. On top of this, all my
campaign progress and intel is also reset to the start; My Spec Ops prograss has however remained...

What I've tried so far:

-I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

-Deleted local save data.

-Signed in and run off a different console.

-Checked for updates

Please advise if there is any solution for this issue, I have read many other forums detailing people having had the same issue from up to 10 years ago now.

Hello MyAngryPanda,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Was the last time you played MW2 on your 360? If so, then you would have needed to set up the

cloud saves feature on the Xbox 360 to use those saves on an Xbox one.

Since the saved data is not working on multiple consoles, it doesn't look like you would be able to get these saves back unless you have your Xbox 360 with the original saves in the hard drive.

You may also be able to find more support from the developers here : Activision support

I ended up cutting my losses and just deleting my cloud save and now it seems to be working fine. Must have been an old corrupt save file or something.
