Call of duty keeps crashing

    Call of duty keeps crashing


    Call of duty and Xbox both had an update around Feb 20, 2025. Now every time I’m in a game playing, it crashes out to the Home Screen of the Xbox. Sometimes the Xbox restarts too. I’ve tried to clear my cache and turn of the Xbox and unplug it. Nothings working.

    Please make sure that the Xbox is up to date. Go to Settings > System > Updates and check for any available updates.

    And then clear persistent storage. To do this please go to Settings > Devices & connections > Blu-ray > Persistent storage and select Clear persistent storage. This can help resolve issues related to cached data.

    Next is to check for overheating. Kindly make sure your console is in a well-ventilated area and that the vents are not blocked. It is because overheating can cause performance issues and crashes.

    If the steps above won't work kindly uninstall and reinstall Call of Duty to ensure you have the latest version and for the corrupted files will be deleted too.

    Lot of XBOX One games keeps crashing to dash

    Having the same issue with multiple games (Call of Duty and RYSE). In Call of Duty it was crashing from the menus and in RYSE it crashed during gameplay.
