    Call of duty ghosts installing problem(s)


    Hm. I've been struggling with this too. Went through the power on/off cycle, even powered down my router to make sure that there was no possible way that the console could connect to the internet. Still stuck at 1%. Is this just a known issue with the XBox
    One? I'm still under warranty, so I could return this whole system if it's known to be this buggy.

    Curse1, I am having a similar issue of installing this game. I get to 98% and then will get the message that it has "Selected save device has been lost". I have tried to save it to a zip drive (same one I used to download COD AW) and tried to save it
    to the consul and will get the same result at the same exact spot. I have plenty of memory space on both so it's not a size issue. This is a rented game and I am kinda sick of going back and forth since this is the 3rd game (not all the same game nor related
    issue). If you know of a resolution, that would be great.

    Well currently with cod installed 43% i have 304 gb free. Plenty right?

    Ive tried to install when not connected to the internet and still it stops at 43% . Its insisting its the disc but i honestly dont think so. The disc is almost flawless and other games ive got have been preowened and worked fine!

    Hey there ImminentGrain26,

    I moved your forum post to a brand new thread to cater to your needs, specifically. I'm sorry to hear about the installing issue you seem to be experiencing. To start out with, I have a few questions to ask to get more information.

    • Are you trying to install a physical disc version or a digital downloaded version?
    • Where are you
      installing       your game to? The Xbox One console's internal hard drive or an external hard drive?
    In the meantime, if you haven't already, try out these troubleshooting steps (in order) to see if will do the trick and have you back to playing:

    1. Uninstall the game.
    2. Power cycle your Xbox One console.
    3. Once the console is off completely, unplug all cords from your console.
    4. Leave everything unplugged for a few minutes.
    5. Plug your console and cords back in and turn it on.
    6. Check your Network Connection. (Settings > Network > Test Network Connection)
    7. Re-install the game and try playing it again.

    Also Radebe57 I would recommend disconnecting the internet, doing the power cycle, and then install the game. Don't connect the internet until after the install. That way it installs only the game and not updates first.

    But have you tried to install offline after doing a fresh power cycle? It could make a difference. And yes you certainly have plenty of space to install COD. And while rare yes the disc data could still be corrupted regardless of no scratching or damage
    to the physical surface. Did you buy this at a local video game store or big chain? If so surely they have a policy regarding an exchange.
