Discus and support Call of Duty Cold War asking for game pass even though I personally bought it in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I bought Call of Duty Cold War digitally on my Xbox maybe about a year ago, I deleted for about 2 months I reinstall it and it asks for me to choose...     Call of Duty Cold War asking for game pass even though I personally bought it


    So I bought Call of Duty Cold War digitally on my Xbox maybe about a year ago, I deleted for about 2 months I reinstall it and it asks for me to choose a game pass plan even though I bought the game myself. I downloaded all 4 content packs yet it still says the same thing.

    That’s the weird thing I’m not trying to play multiplayer, I remember there being a way to disconnect form the Xbox live servers but I can’t find it

    Well if you are trying to play multiplayer not warzone you need gamepass ultimate for console

    Or.gamepass core or gold

    Hello MeantLearner390, I would like to inform you that as of 4 December 2023, Microsoft still requires a Game Pass Core/Ultimate subscription to play games that need to be bought.

    This includes the campaign.

    As of 4 December 2023, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War must be bought as it is not free.

    If you want to play the game without worrying about the Game Pass blockage, you can either pay for a Game Pass subscription or use an account that already has Game Pass.

    You can also go offline via the in-game menu. When you load up the game, you should see an 'X' symbol, along with the words "Go Offline". Hit the X button and you will be logged out and offline. If that does not work, you may try the idea I suggested above.

    How come when I open call of duty black ops coldwar a pop up appears saying purchase game then another pop up appears saying game already installed but still wont let me play mind you I own this game.

    Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

    Make sure that these packs are installed:

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 1

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 2

    Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 3
