    Hello, I am having an issue with this game called call of duty Black ops Cold war on a disc, in the past I was able to play the game just fine until some update came out that didn't allow me to play it anymore, what it would do is it would try to install the update but it will give me this installation stopped error and it would keep trying and give me the same error, so with this happening I got annoyed with it I tried things to get it to work but nothing worked, so now I don't want to even deal with it anymore, so I decided to delete the game, but when I would delete it, later I would turn on the Xbox and the game is still there? It won't let me delete the game for some reason, I just want to delete this game permanently because I have had issues with it and I'm tired of it. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    From what I can tell, to access the Series X version of the game, you need the Cross-Gen bundle...once you buy that, you should then be able to download and install the Series X version. Without the cross-gen bundle it will, presumably, just install the XB1 version

    From the Store page:

    "For digital owners of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Standard Edition, this upgrade will unlock the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle, giving access to the Xbox Series X|S version of the game. After upgrade purchase, search in the Xbox store for the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War - Cross-Gen Bundle to install the Xbox Series X|S version of the game."

    Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

    Make sure that these packs are installed:
