Call Of Duty AW Limited edition Console what Microsoft and Activision did wrong

So I spent 500+ dollar for COD AW console. Being Xbox one day one owner I really had no reason other then to support Xbox and Call Of duty. And in return poor planning has made me reconsider ever owning another product from either Xbox Or Activision . I
got home at 1010 and setup Xbox by 1040 I was downloading game I went to bed and woke up at 5 am to find game not installed and sitting at 25% I waited 30 mins and it didn't move restarted download it is now 928 and i'm finally at 40%. almost 12 hrs of double
xp down the drain. I should have preorder just the game saved 400.00 and been playing because I would have preloaded game the day it was available for preorder. but the company I supported decided that they would let me get console ahead of time which would
have lessened stress on servers because customer would have preloaded. when I called they blamed the large volume of people downloading game. well duh why didn't you prepare this.

what you did wrong

1. Be ready this is only the 6th or 7th installment of the game

2. Let people who spent 500.00 get console prerelease of game so they could preload

3. just include hard copy with console

4 care about your true fans they could spend there 500.00+ dollar elsewhere

this will be last limited edition I buy

Microsoft has announced an Xbox 360 Limited Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 console at the start of the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles on Friday.

Xbox 360, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games have teamed up to create a “Call of Duty” collectible, just in time for the most epic “Call of Duty” experience yet.

The console will play unmistakable “Call of Duty” sounds when powering up and when the tray is opened presumably in a similar way to Microsoft’s recently announce Star Wars console that played sounds from the Sci-Fi movie.

What is likely to be a must have for “Call of Duty” fans includes a customised console with graphics from the game, along with two custom wireless controllers, a 320GB hard drive, a copy of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.”

Gamers will also get a one month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription is included, as well as exclusive avatar items that show your Xbox LIVE friends.

At 320GB, the console has the largest hard drive ever available for Xbox 360.

The console will launch on 8th November, 2011 in the UK exclusively with GAME and gamestation for £269.99, and you can pre-order it starting today.

In addition to the console, Microsoft will be releasing two limited edition accessories, both exclusive to GAME and gamestation in the UK.

The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth for £44.99 and a the chance to buy just the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Wireless Controller either in addition to the console or if you
can’t afford it. It will cost £39.99

Digital Copies of COD AW - Xbox One to Xbox 360

I am thinking of getting the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: Limited Edition Xbox One Console from Game in the UK. This comes with a digital copy of the COD AW game. Once this is downloaded will it be available (in my Live account) to download to my brothers
Xbox 360 which shares the account?

 

Yep same here, my COD AW Limited Edition console arrived at 10am this morning, it's now 8pm and it's at 99%, that's 10 hours to download and I have a fast fibre 40mbps internet connection. My other Xbox One (old one) is stuck at 50% and on its 3rd retry,
COD console is on 2nd retry at 99%. Shameful!

 

You guys are lucky. My code won't work,, so I can't even initiate the download. $480 down the drain. What a rip off.
