    Hi all,

    Interested in your experiences on this one...

    I got CoD AW last Tuesday and installed it that evening with some issues. I just wanted to share my experience and find out if anyone else had similar and if it is just isolated to this game or similar experiences with all games?

    Now I purchased the disk version of this game.

    I began installing about 6pm and installation was painfully slow - I mean it took around 5mins to do 1 percent.

    Between 6pm and 6.30pm I had about 3 failed installations and just gave up on each one.

    Strange thing for me was that although I was installing from disk when I looked at my bandwidth usage during this time fram I had downloaded approx 15GB of data! Why was that when installing from the disk? And why did it now install the disk files and then
    download any updates.

    Anyway I attempted an install after this and left it until I got the notification you could play the game. So I tried, and found that I couldn't play the game but also it *** up my installation.

    So finally I started again and left the install to complete by itself. About an 1 hour and 30 minutes later I was finally able to join my friends online and get a game before going to bed.

    What I am really puzzled with though is why was my console downloading so much data when installing from disk. And are game installation similar with other titles or was it unique with CoD AW that so many people were installing at the same time. However
    again even with that I am puzzled why when installing from disk you experience these issues.

    We've got firsthand experience with this one, and the issue is a little more prevalent than PlayStation's equivalent. If you buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on disc, beware not to allow the game's update to download when you first insert the disc into
    your Xbox One. We said yes, and the game was unable to install from the disc. It ends up looping between "Installing" and "Queued," occasionally spinning up the disc, then quitting, then spinning again, then quitting again, ad infinitum. In the business, we
    call that "pretty whack." If you end up in this situation, we've got a tested solution -- and it works, at least on my Xbox One -- care of Crave Online:

    1.Remove the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from the Xbox One disc tray.

    2.Navigate to My Games & Apps, then select the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and hit the Xbox One gamepad's Menu button.

    3.Select "Uninstall game" and hit A

    4.Re-insert your Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game disc

    5.When asked whether you want to install the game's update, select "Update later"

    6.The game will install like normal! Hooray!
