    Call of Duty 2 FPS drop


    Hello there.
    I just got a new PC 2 weeks ago, GPU RTX 3060, intel core i5 11400H. Installed Call Of Duty 2 and put the highest graphics, everthing was ok, and i got the needed FPS "333 or 250". 1 week ago i activated the windows and did a BIOS update, then i did some updates for the windows. After that i tried to play the game, and i noticed that i'm getting FPS drop, between 150-300. Tried to open the game as an adminstrator and tried to run the game in compatibility mode for windows XP (service pack 2) "I did this thing before, when i installed the game for the first time".
    After that i tried to reinstall the game, the DirectX9. Tried to use the Highest GPU performance and still having the same problem. Can you help me please?

    Hi Tezzarrific.
    I'm talking about the old CoD2. In my old Laptop, with core i5 4200U and Nvidia GT 710M i had higher FPS.
    When i use the Maximum processor state 100% in the power management i get normal FPS. I'm always playing with 98% to get less CPU temperature in new games, but in new games the FPS still normal even with changing the max processor state.
    So i really don't know, is the problem really with the power management? The game is old, the graphics requirements are low. So with high graphics i think i've to get good FPS even with changing the power management.

    if new, you aint gonna get 300 fps with a 3060 on highest settings for a start, must have been showing wrong in the first place, anything from 150 to 300 is excellent for that hardware.

    i have a 3080ti and ryzen 7 5800X3D and get 400 on low and about 230 on the highest settings 1080p, i play 4K and get around 160

    It's not ok when the game is online, cause in these old games we need stable FPS to get better gameplay. The problem is i had a stable FPS before the updates, and after that it starts dropping.
