    After a game (Battlefield 1) corrupted my files I completed a console reset, I am now locked out of my console as I cannot remember an old email address that I set up my original xbox with over 10 years ago.

    This has happened before, and I spoke to an agent. with her excellent help and the use of my alternative email and memorable questions, we fixed it within 30 mins.

    fast forward 5 years to now, the issue is impossible to fix, as the stupid automated 'sUpPoRt' is irrelevant to my issue, the virtual assistant is equally, and predictably, useless.

    So I opt for the 'call back' help, to find (of course) that as soon as I enter my phone number and hit go, a box flashes up and tells me there is a problem, and that 'we are working on it' which is great to know, really help[s me out. So i not only have to wait to fix my original issue, that I'm no further ahead with, I also have no way of even contacting you to report the problem apart from here, where i will undoubtedly receive an automated email telling me to use the 'support' page.

    Honestly considering buying a playstation at this point. Its absolutely ridiculous that there is no 'real time' help available

    Yes thats whay your automated message says on your so called "online support". In reality in my research there are countless incidents where a person has their account hacked and Microsoft does absolutely nothing about it. Why does such an enormous company not want to help their customers how their customers want to be helped? Get rid of the automated **** and go back to real people. I had this happen when I had an xbox 360 many years ago. I called the support number and in about an hour they got my account back. Your steps are trash and once I find out that the automated **** wont give me my account back I'll never buy this microsoft trash again.

    There's no guarantee they will be sent back.
    I was recently sent an email with a note that said " If you sent any additional accessories with your non-functioning device, they will be returned to you in a separate shipment" Is this just an automated message or does this mean I will get them back, if so, how long will it take to receive them?

    This device (my PC) can sign in on multiple different Xbox Live accounts, just not this one :(. As I say, I wanted to use support.xbox.com for proper contact with someone who can assist, but the website does not function properly and I'm unable to use that method. This forum is the only way I can contact support apart from directly calling (which no number is available for direct calling so...). I'm really stuck here and the lack of functionality on the support websites is really frustrating. I was hoping by posting on the forums I could get someone in touch with me personally, obviously not discussing private details on this exact forum post.
