Calibration tool in accessories app

Have you tried to use the Xbox Accessories App to calibrate the sticks?

Open the Xbox Accessories app on your console or PC.

On the screen for your controller in the Accessories app, select “…“ to open the device details screen.

Before you recalibrate your controller, check to see if there’s a firmware update available for your controller. If there is, update your controller before you recalibrate.

Select Recalibration options.

Select the specific thumbstick you want to recalibrate (left or right).

Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the recalibration.

All depends on your TV set yet it's recommended to leave the color space setting set to TV (RGB Limited). RGB Limited is the broadcast standard for video content and is intended for use with televisions.

The Xbox Accessories app is located under the My Games and Apps section > Apps > Xbox Accessories. If it is not there you may have to download the app from the store or check under ready to install.

In this app you can map controller buttons and adjust settings. Note that joystick calibration is a feature of the Xbox One Elite Controller.

You need to calibrate your TV. Different devices have different output levels, and you need to adjust your TV settings to compensate. Animation is inherently “bright” as well which makes it more noticeable. A calibration disc like Spears and Munsil can help you do this, or there is a baseline tool in the Xbox apps
