Having commenced its Kickstarter to develop Road Redemption, a spiritual successor to retro favourite Road Rash, Dark Seas Games has recently confirmed that it would like to create an Xbox Live Arcade port as the first stretch goal, should the funding
surpass the $160,000 target by $18,000.

The Road Redemption Kickstarter has been running for around three weeks and is now entering its final week. Currently, the funding stands at just shy of $107,000.

"While we were initially hesitant to announce an Xbox 360 port because of Durango uncertainty, the 77 million Xbox 360s in circulation make this an easy choice," reads the Road Redemption Kickstarter page. "Furthermore, the rumored Xbox 360 mini,
and probable backward compatibility of the Durango (via an extra chip on the motherboard), should give the platform a life far into the future.

"Our team has more collective Xbox 360 development experience than any other console, and we're all very excited to port Road Redemption to Xbox Live Arcade."

$178,000 is required for Dark Seas to make Road Redemption on XBLA a reality, so if it sounds like something you fancy, you can get behind the game over on the Kickstarter page.
