According to your description, I knew that you were told that the Document folder was not exist when you tried to save your modding in the folder in MC, but you confirm in the File Explorer that it does exist. Is that right?



First, were you accessing the path directly in the game? If so, I suggest that you run the game as administrator and try saving.

Then have you changed the default save location within the system? If so, I suggest you try changing it to the default setting. The details are shown in the figure below.









Then you may try accessing that Document directory in File Explorer and trying to create the folder manually.



Or you could choose another save path (such as the default save path or other non-root directories of non-system partitions).



If the above solution still doesn't work, I suggest you try to repair Mine craft. Because it cannot be ruled out that it is a problem with the game itself. "Win" logo key + "Q" to open the search box and enter "Mine craft", right-click "Mine craft" at the top of the result list > "App settings" > "Repair".



The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, and hope that could help you a little. If the problem still exists, please provide us a full PSR from the beginning, through the whole process, and until the error message is displayed, so we can further investigate.

Unfortunately your reccomendation didn't work. I managed to get all things working again, by making the value in personal, C:\Users\Username\OneDrive\Documents , so documents instead of desktop and it seems to have fixed the problem.

I'm still thanking you for trying to help me, it is really appreciated.

being an "old" game it's in an old fashioned path:

C:\Users\MyUser\Documents\My Games\Dishonored\DishonoredGame\SaveData
