Buzzing noise when I plug headset into 3.5 mm jack on new Xbox wireless controller.

Hello, I've tried everything to fix this problem and it has all come down to the 3.5 mm jack buzzing like a light every time, I know I can just turn the mic monitoring down, but it can still clearly be heard when I'm streaming and it's really annoying
me. I tried earbuds with a mic as well and the same problem. Should I just get a new controller?

The Xbox One does not support USB headsets, you need a headset that can plug in the 3.5 mm jack socket in the controller, or a wireless headset compatible with Xbox One.

Was this part of a Console Bundle? Also when was this purchased? As mentioned in "Xbox One controller and headset compatibility"

"As of June 2015, new Xbox One Wireless Controllers will include a 3.5-mm port so users can connect a compatible 3.5-mm audio jack directly to the controller."

If your controller does not have the 3.5-mm audio jack then it is possible that it is an older model.

Try Setting up a headset adapter.
This helps if the 3.5mm socket is faulty on the controller and also

You could try the controller headset adapter. That may resolve the issue.
