    Buying Xbox One


    Hi I have a question as I myself am new to Xbox. I have a xb1 and my daughter has 360 for her birthday we going to buy her a xb1 my question is

    • I want to buy her some digital games before we give her the console. If I buy them under my name can they be downloaded to her console? Or would I have to add a payment option to her MS account?
    • When she does get her console if she plays on mine at my house her games are digital can she play them on my console? If she does play a game that's digital can it be shared under 2 consoles without her going into her name?
    Now I know I can buy her MS points and she can do whatever but I would like to surprise her and want to have them purchased without her seeing the purchases in her history. Is that possible? Thank you for helping a n00b out Buying Xbox One :)

    1) If you're buying games for her, it would be best to buy them under her account. If you buy them under your account, you would need to sign in on her console and set it as your Home console in order for her to have access to the games. That would also
    mean she would have access to anything else you download on your account.

    2) If she downloads the games on her account she can redownload and play them on any console. She does have to be signed into her account on any console that is not her Home console in order to play the games.

    I think people definitely need to try kinect for themselves. I thought I'd enjoy using it........turn's out I hate it. I'd of gone kinectless if the choice was there at launch.

    Thanks Demonic, I hardly ever post, but this is really a deal breaker for me. I trade games with family to play all the time, that means 2 users are playing it from one household to the next, not exactly ripping off Publishers at all. I have bought games
    because I played a friends copy and loved it! Trading games to play is just advertising. What are publishers saying? Is used game trade destroying their companies? What if another company implants a satellite chip that allows only one user to use a product--never
    to be resold or traded--would that be fair?
