I take it you haven't played Minecraft for a while on this old Windows PC?

If you're attempting to log-in with your old Mojang account I'm afraid that it's no longer possible to do this. You need to sign in with a Microsoft account to continue to play Minecraft Java. This became mandatory from 10 March 2022.

That's not available yet, as you can see in the picture it says, coming summer 2022 and that you WILL get it, in the future

Would it be possible to buy the windows version with the laptop (prime) account in the store and than log in with the old account? Does it function?

I would by it with the old account, but the Microsoft store runs with the laptop identity (prime account) and it is not possible to buy and register the minecraft with the old account on the laptop with the new account.

Or is there any other possibility to solve the problem?

Ok so this same thing happened awhile back in like early 2021 or 2022. This is a newerish account. I just want my old good account back
