    Buying games from Store


    I am attempting to purchase Far Cry 3 via the xbox one store to download to my xbox one. However when i go to pay i receive the error message "You have no valid payment options on file Microsoft Account Balances cannot be used in this purchase channel".

    I have subsequently added my card details to the "Payment & billing" section of my Account however i still receive the same error message when i attempt to purchase this game.

    Does anyone have any advice or have suffered from this same issue?

    I must SAY we will Pay for convience I got a game last nigh for 29.99 on xbox when I KNEW it was only 20.00 Brand New every where else. WHY? simple I got home from work didn't want to go out Purchased it and Spent time with my wife while it downloaded.

    When running into issues or errors with purchasing even with a valid card on the account a good bet is that there is an issue with the account such as a past due balance.

    To ensure that nothing is stuck on your billing account sign into your account and check out the
    subscriptions page!

    If you do not see any issues with the account be sure to reach out to the
    chat or phone team     for further assistance.

    No disk and no wifi but can i still use the mobile app to replace the disk with out wifi. (i already have it downloaded via disk)

    You would need internet to access the store and then to fully redownload the game from the store.

    The best option would be to buy the game disc again as it is quite cheap now and cheaper to buy from ebay or a local store than it is to buy it from the xbox store currently,.

    Hello! you can do a purchase with your Microsoft account, its only to purchase the console and have a record, but the console its like any other console, you can use any Xbox account to redeem your game.
